“She’s the kind of queen that knows her crown isn’t on her head but in her soul”

Makeup gives me confidence, it makes me feel powerful and can transform my mood quicker than it can transform my face.

I started applying my own makeup when I was 12 and ever since then my favourite part of any party or event has been applying my makeup! It brings pure joy, excitement, and satisfaction to my life because nothing is better than 2 identical wings (even if it take 20 minutes). I love everything beauty, makeup, skin, hair, nails, I love it all.

I am often asked: “So what do you want to do when you grow up?”. I want to respond by saying I want to say be Huda Kattan. Unfortunately I have come to the realization that I can’t be Huda, however, I would love to create my own makeup brand. I also want to continue to develop my blog and expand my social media accounts.

I have always thought about starting a youtube channel, a blog or a makeup account on Instagram but I wasn’t sure where to start. A very exciting opportunity arose at school when my year level was introduced to a task called, Personal Project. What's Personal Project? I hear you ask yourself, well it is a chance for students to complete ANY task of their choice that they are passionate about. Students have roughly a year to produce a product, research about their topic and a lot of written work. Products can range from writing a book, designing an outfit or creating a piece of music.

Before I buy a new beauty product I always do a LOT of research! I watch reviews on YouTube, I look at swatches online and I read reviews written by people online. I want my blog to be your personal source for all things beauty. I want to provide as much information as possible on products for you, so my blog will have all the information you need. When reviewing a product I will give you my opinion on how well the product works, my own swatches and respected swatches from social media. I believe it is important for a product to have strong pigment, be easy to blend and be long-lasting. I am a strong believer in paying for the value of a product, not the popularity of the product/brand. I buy most of my makeup from Mecca Maxima and Sephora, and I have rarely felt that I overpaid for a product.

On my blog, I want to share with you new looks, my thoughts on products and beauty advice. I promise to always be 100% honest as honesty is a quality I value highly. I hope you enjoy reading my blog and want to share every new piece of information with other beauty queens around you.
