As most of you already know, I am absolutely obsessed with Mecca Maxima. I think that all of the employees at my local Mecca Maxima know my name because I go in there pretty much weekly. All of the Mecca employees that have ever helped me have been friendly, informative, kind and extremely helpful. They always cater to my every need and are the reason why shopping at Mecca is so enjoyable. Personally I only buy makeup from Mecca Maxima, however, they also have a fantastic range of skincare and a beautiful range of hair products and perfumes.

Makeup Applications

I have been fortunate enough to have had a few makeup applications at Mecca. The one on one service you receive is like no other makeup store. Mecca always has plenty of staff in the store at one time, meaning the employee assigned to do your makeup isn’t distracted by other customers. I have always been extremely happy with how my base turned out however a few times I was disappointed with standard the of my eyeshadow, as it wasn’t blended enough for my preference. Overall I would rate all of my experiences an 8 out of 10.

Makeup Tutorials

I have been extremely fortunate to have had a makeup tutorial at Mecca before, it was definitely the best 60 minutes of my life. A makeup tutorial works by a Mecca employe giving you a makeup application, as well as teaching you how she completed the look while explaining what products and techniques she used. I would rate my experience a 10 out of 10.

Beauty Lab

Booking an appoint for the beauty lab is an opportunity to enhance your beauty skills to the next level and receive personalised information. On information regarding a beauty lab, it is probably best to call the store you wish to attend a lesson at.

Masterclasses

Mecca Masterclass or Mecca Corporate Masterclass

Guests: Minimum 6 (Mecca Cosmetica) or 10 (Mecca Maxima)
Duration: 2 hours (after store trading hours)
$100 per person redeemable for products purchased on the night.
Available Monday to Wednesday (selected stores only)

The only difference stated on the Mecca Maxima website between a Mecca Masterclass and a Mecca Corporate Masterclass is the type of people you may invite. A Mecca Masterclass invites your friends and family, whether a Mecca Corporate Masterclass is advertised as a way to thank or reward clients from your company.

Mecca regularly set up exclusive events at their stores after open hours, including international beauty experts in makeup, skin and perfumes from brands stocked in Mecca stores.

Events are complimentary for Beauty Loop Level 3 customers. All booking fees are redeemable for product purchased on the day.
