Lipstick vs Food - Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick Review

If you’re like me and eat something every 5 minutes you know how annoying it is to reapply lipstick every time you eat something. This is why I made it my mission to find a lipstick that I can happily eat as much food as I desire.
I decided to make an online purchase from the Jeffree Star Cosmetics website and I didn’t regret it! I have made 3 separate online purchases on the Jeffree Star Cosmetics website and I only had an issue with 1 of my purchases, where only received 1 of the 3 lipstick I order. However, after getting in contact with Jeffree Star's customer service team they were able to provide me with the missing lipsticks. Jeffree Star Cosmetics are constantly creating new colours and surprising me with the creativity and uniqueness of each colour.

My Thoughts
I absolutely love the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks! The formula is light and thin and doesn’t seep into lip lines. It dries completely matte but doesn’t feel drying on my lips at all. All the colours I have are very pigmented, transfer proof, apply colour evenly and don’t bleed out of my lip lines. The unique shape of the wand makes it easier for me to apply on my top lip, however, on my bottom lip, I don’t find it any easier or harder to apply than a traditional doe foot applicator. These lipsticks have a very nice and sweet smell but not overpowering. For some reason Watermelon Soda has a different scent to the other colours, it smells a little like medicine and has a stronger scent than the others do. Deceased also smells different, however, the smell is quite muted. Almost all foods can be eaten with almost no transfer! Foods with excessive oil will definitely cause a respectable amount of lipstick to be removed. However, it is extremely minimal. These lipsticks are so comfortable they can definitely be worn all day, with only 1 or possibly 2 reapplications. I understand that not everyone likes buying makeup online, however, I believe that these products are definitely worth it. These are my favourite liquid lipsticks! If I know I'm going to be eating, they are the first lipsticks I grab!
